Nathan joined Oosthuizen & Co in December 2017. He is an admitted attorney and a Director at Oosthuizen & Co, Cape Town. He has an undergraduate degree BA and a postgraduate LLB from the University of Cape Town, as well as an LLM in admiralty law, from Tulane University in New Orleans. He has also recently completed an advanced programme in insolvency litigation and administration practice from the University of Pretoria.
Nathan specialises in corporate & commercial law and commercial dispute resolution. He is well-versed in company law, insolvency law, liquidations and sequestrations. He litigates predominantly in the superior courts and has run several arbitrations and mediations. He is also skilled at drafting and advising on a number of commercial and business agreements and transactions. A career highlight includes representing, since 2018, the largest contractual claimant throughout the Steinhoff litigation.
