Nathan Sarkas is the Head of Dispute Resolution at Oosthuizen & Co, based in Cape Town.
He has acted in some of South Africa’s largest and complex commercial disputes, including representing the largest contractual claimant in the aftermath of the Steinhoff collapse.
As an admitted attorney, his practice encompasses corporate, commercial, insolvency, maritime, fintech, and general contractual law. He is experienced in both contentious and non-contentious matters across these areas.
Nathan first joined Oosthuizen & Co in January 2018 and served as a director until July 2024. Following over a year in-house as the commercial legal advisor to a leading fintech company, he rejoined the firm in November 2025.
