Michael joined Oosthuizen & Co in January 2017. He is an admitted attorney and conveyancer and is a Director at Oosthuizen & Co, Cape Town. He has an undergraduate BA (Political Science, Philosophy & Economics) from the University of Stellenbosch and a post graduate LLB (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa.
As a conveyancer, he specialises in property law as well as corporate & commercial law and is skilled at drafting and advising on property and commercial agreements and transactions. He is also well versed in the operations and idiosyncrasies of the Deeds Office and various local municipalities, ensuring that property transfers and other conveyancing transactions are efficiently processed and successfully registered. A career highlight includes attending to the successful registration, and the simultaneous transfer of the large volume of subdivided properties, in a big residential development.
